Building our Regions is a $445 million targeted regional infrastructure program for local government projects. The program provides funding for critical infrastructure that meet the specific needs of regional communities and supports economic development, including generating jobs, in regional areas of the Queensland.
The Building our Regions program has allocated $225 million across 174 projects, supporting an estimated 1762 jobs and attracting additional investment of $353.5 million from councils and other organisations.
Projects approved under Round 4 of Building our Regions are being progressively announced. Details of these projects will be available shortly.
