PDA-associated development

Certain proposed developments for a Priority Development Area (PDA) may be identified in a PDA planning instrument or through a separate process as ‘PDA-associated development’. This means the development is located outside the PDA.

PDA-associated development is dealt with under the Economic Development Act 2012 in the same way as development within a PDA.

If your proposed development satisfies the criteria for a PDA-associated development, EDQ can provide guidance on the request for declaration process.
