Engaging local industry and generating jobs are key objectives for the Queensland Government.
Registering your business' interest
Businesses with an interest in participating in the refurbishment of heritage listed buildings and the construction of the training facility are encouraged to complete the following two steps:
- establish a company profile (and capability statement) on the ICN Gateway
- lodge an expression of interest (EOI) for the partial and/or full scope work packages.
Trade package requests for tender
A list of suitable businesses that have registered an expression of interest (EOI) for the works packages through the ICN Gateway will be made available for reference and use by the awarded head contractors for the refurbishment works project and the training facility project.
Suppliers/businesses please note: the responsibility for tendering and awarding suppliers for works will be transferred to the awarded head contractors (at the time of contract award) for each project and will not be the responsibility of the department.
In situations where suitable businesses cannot be identified from those that have expressed interest through the ICN Gateway, or where no businesses have expressed interest through the ICN Gateway, alternative processes will be used to procure the required packages of work by the awarded contractor for the relevant portion of work (refurbishment and construction of the training facility).
