Proponents of approved infrastructure facilities of significance (IFS) are required to comply with the following statutory guidelines:
- Guidelines for consultation and negotiation with native title interests ( 1.98 MB)
- Guidelines for acquisition of land for infrastructure projects by persons other than the state ( 1.34 MB)
Since 4 November 2011 IFS applicants have been subject to fees and cost-recovery provisions.
Proponents of an approved IFS who are applying for compulsory acquisition of land must pay the fee prescribed in the State Development and Public Works Organisation Regulation 2010.
